CTE Mission
The Corsicana ISD Career and Technical Education Department (CTE) will engage, equip, and empower 21st-century learners by incorporating foundational skills needed to perform tasks proficiently, aligned with current industry standards.
CTE Programs of Study
Corsicana ISD offers fourteen different programs of study. Each program includes a coherent sequence of courses, industry-based certifications, and work-based learning experiences to ensure our students are equipped for high-wage, high-demand careers. All students choose a program of study that aligns with their interests and goals to better prepare them for a career, technical school, two-year college, or four-year university. Our CTE students can gain valuable technical skills and industry certifications that enable direct entry into the global workforce or continued post-secondary education.
