Corsicana High School senior Molly Gamez received a $1,500 scholarship Tuesday at Navarro College's annual Martin Luther King Jr. luncheon, where she shared how her grandparents' work as migrant farmers shaped her commitment to advocacy.

Molly Gamez, estudiante de último año de la Escuela Preparatoria Corsicana, recibió una beca de $1,500 el martes en el almuerzo anual en honor a Martin Luther King Jr. del Navarro College, donde compartió cómo el trabajo de sus abuelos como agricultores migrantes influyó en su compromiso con la defensa de los derechos humanos.

Corsicana High School FFA students recently delivered the third and final metal sign for Art Alley, completing a fabrication project that now marks all entrances to the downtown arts corridor behind the historic Palace Theatre.

Los estudiantes de FFA de la Escuela Preparatoria Corsicana entregaron recientemente el tercer y último letrero de metal para Art Alley, completando un proyecto de fabricación que ahora marca todas las entradas al corredor artístico del centro de la ciudad, detrás del histórico Teatro Palace.

As a ninth-grader, Lexus Almanza was, well, distracted. Despite being a starter for the Corsicana Lady Tigers soccer team that year, so much worked against her. But she did not give in.

Corsicana High School junior Callahan Hayes has been selected as a Texas State Thespian Officer, a prestigious leadership position that represents the pinnacle of high school theater achievement in the state.

About 100 Corsicana High School National Honor Society students gathered Monday morning to help shape the future of their cafeteria menu, sampling potential new items in collaboration with the Child Nutrition Department and school administrators.

Four Corsicana ISD students will represent the district at the Texas FFA state contest in Public Relations this week after showcasing their chapter's achievements at the Area contest.
